After eight years with my organization I found myself at a crossroads that I didn't quite know how to navigate. I was up for a new position but under a new administration that did not know me nor the significant contributions I had made to our program. I felt overwhelmed and uncomfortable. I needed to develop a plan in order to move forward but didn't know where to begin. Yewande sat with me and helped organize the reality of my situation and the potential outcomes. We started broad discussing both the best and worse case scenario and evaluated all possibilities in great detail. She was engaging, thoughtful and positive. By the time we finished I felt confident and prepared for however things would play out. This confidence and peace of mind allowed me to successfully serve as the Interim Director and ultimately land my dream position as the Head Coach of my Alma Mater.
I met Yewande in my foundation class, which helped us to explore and develop our career, she shared her impressive work experience and truly inspired us to explore the myriad possibilities for the future career path. Working with Yewande has been an eye opening experience. She is relatable in her instruction and has a keen eye for attention to detail.
